MSG duty experiences (preferably from the wives)...?

We are considering MSG and everything that I've heard, googled, etc. sounds great. However, I'd love to hear from people who have, actually, done MSG. My husband is SNCO and we have children, so I'd really like to hear from other det commanders and/or wives. What did you experience? What about schools, house, life in general? Any pros/cons would be great, too!! Thank you!
