Is it normal for a thirteen year-old to do the following?

Before I get into this, lemme tell you that I was born into a good community and lived in it until I was 11 years old. Now I live in Shanghai, China. Now I know what peer pressure, cramming, cheating, dating, and whatnot is really about. I've taken courses like DARE, but I never knew it was actually this widespread. I found out that people in my school constantly go karaokeing and drink alcohol. At first, I was ASTOUNDED because I never knew that kids my age were already drinking! I ask around, and I hear that it's NORMAL. I also heard cheating, copying homework, sneaking out of home to go to places with friends, having in high school, having before marriage, and all this stuff is NORMAL too. Is this true?!
