What should i do..my ex is trying to contact me? plzz hlp 10pts?

My ex dumped me on our anniversary. He said " he needed time" but ended up getting a new gf 5 days later! It hurted me SO bad I still cry about it. He posts on facebook how happy he is with her and how perfect there relationship is. And he put a pic on fb with her laying on him and she was wearing the hat I bought him for his birthday! That was so wrong. And it hurted me. It seems like he goes out his way to hurt me. He also told me a few months ago that I was the past and I need to get over him & move on. So...last night he called me..I didn't answer, then he texted what up, I didn't text back. Then he called me this morning like 9 am. I didn't answer. Should I just continue to ignore him or answer? & if I answer what should I say? And should I be mean or nice to him? Also how do I get over him completely? Because after all of this..dumb old me still loves him (but ill never be with him again)
