I was diagnosed with Bronchitis, needs advice opinions?

The doctors gave me a shot in each hip. They gave me anti-biotics and they gave me an inhaler. I've had the cough for 3 weeks and it just now developed into the full blown thing. Right now It's 2 am, Can't sleep. My nose is blocked up and running at the same time. My throat is very sore. I'm coughing up phlegm a lot and my sides(lungs?) hurt when I cough. I have requested time off from work tomorrow (today) and gotten it. Will I need to be off friday also? My job, sawmill type, is very dusty, my co-worker smokes and I work in a very cold environment. Is this gonna prevent me from getting better? Also...What else can I do to able to get some relief. All this stuff they gave me doesn't seem to be working at all! But I wouldn't know as this is the first time I've had bronchitus. It could be worse???????
